Bible Studies for Life App Reviews

The studies are great ... but ...

Addendum - 8/29/16: Our new Sunday School semester is beginning in a couple of weeks. Ive purchased several of the individual lesson books ... but ... I wont purchase anymore. The pages in the books arent numbered and its too difficult to follow along in class without page numbers. I purchased this study because its the study currently used by my Sunday School Class and it is so convenient to read and study my lessons during the day on my mobile device without having to carry the book around, in addition to using my iPad in class. The one great inconvenience for me, however, is the lack of page numbers. In class when my teacher instructs us to turn to a particular page ... its disconcerting for me because I dont know exactly where to flip to, unless she happens to mention the page topic or subject matter that I can zero in on. Maybe Ive overlooked it, but is there a way for page numbers to be shown on the pages?

Misses on a couple of key points

Doesnt have page numbers, which makes following in-class direction difficult as was mentioned by another user. Doesnt support rotation to landscape mode on iPhone 5S although it does on iPad 2. However the app is sluggish for scrolling on the iPad 2. No performance problems seen on the iPhone 5S.

What happened?

I have the older version of this app which had lots of cool bells and whistles for the books. It was great. What happened? This new version is NOT user friendly and not what I can in good conscience recommend to my adult class students to use. And...when logged in to my account I cant download or access my previously purchased books. Highly disappointed.

Where is KJV version of the lessons?

We use Bible Study for Life in our adult Sunday School and felt this would be a great tool but we use the KJV version of the lesson guides and apparently they are not available here. Only NIV, EVS and another one or two. Please add KJV support.
